Hayling Island is to be noticed on the stunning southern coast of England on the agricultural shores between the well known cities of Chichester and Portsmouth.

Hayling Island is a prime location for clean beaches and holds two blue flags and Tidy Britain seaside accolades; it is the premiere position for some of the optimal sailing and windsurfing in the UK.

Hayling Island is a traditional coastal resort that has suffered as a result of the decline of the traditional seaside holiday.

Salt production was an industry on the island from the 11th century (the Domesday Book recorded a saltpan on the island for this purpose) until the late 19th century. At the northwest corner of the island lies the Hayling Oysterbeds Local Nature Reserve.

Hayling Island is easily accessible from most areas and just an hour and 15min from London.

The Island is also said to be one of the optimal Wind Surfing areas on the South Coast.

Hayling Island is the perfect position to enjoy a first class beach.

Destination Hayling Island will see the refurbishment of the whole seafront, focused on the creation of a new landmark conceptual “modern pier” building, which will be the centerpiece of a re-invigorated seafront.

If you could make the decision to take a holiday and come to Hayling island then a stupendous place to halt would be Cockle Warren Cottage Hotel - it is pretty much on the beach and you will be enwrapped in the beguile of the cottage with the warm sea snap rapping on your chamber window.

South Africa has mild weather throughout the year, with the plus point of being nicely placed in the Southern Hemisphere - turning it into a fantastic getaway from from the cold American and European wintertimes.

In this short piece, I’m going to look at the less famous locations of the South African peninsula, so you can get away from the crowds while also enjoying the lower costs that you can find off the beaten path.

Kruger Park
Many people know about this park from arguably the most well-known wildlife footage caught on camera. Kruger is the largest game park in the South African peninsula and covers 350 km from north to south and 60 km from east to west. The park has 8 main gates that provide entry to the different campsites there. There is plenty of guesthouses near Krugar National Park so it doesn’t need to be a lengthy return journey from Durban or wherever you’re staying.

Drakensberg Mountain Range
The Drakensberg Mountain Range is the highest range of mountains South African, going up to over 3400 metres in height. Caves are predominant in the easily weathered sandstone, and numerous have rock murals drawn by the Bushmen. The Drakensberg Mountain Range has roughly 40000 works of cave drawings and is the greatest assemblage of such paintings on the planet. There is evidence that the bushmen subsisted in the Drakensberg as long ago as 100,000 years ago. The Drakensberg Mountain Range is simple to get to from adjacent Durban and you can normally find hotels in Durban without any trouble.

KwaZulu Natal
KwaZulu Natahas has been increasingly popular with tourists - mainly sold as the Zulu Kingdom. It is regrettable that many tourists miss this experience, as many locals know that it offers holidaymakers a variety of things to do. For many years it has been known as the Garden Province - the name being well deserved. There ought to be little worry locating hotels near KwaZulu.

Andrew Brash returned this week from Nepal after successfully climbing to the summit of Chomolungma or Mount Everest. Sherchan just 18 days away from his 77th birthday beat the age record set last year by 71-year-old Japanese teacher Katsusuke Yanagisawa.

Nepalese man, 75, oldest mountaineer to climb to the peak of Mt Everest Hall was frostbitten and severely disoriented due to altitude sickness. Min Bahadur Sherchan returned a hero to Calgarians. Bahadur Sherchan and four climbing guides reached the 29,035-foot (8,850-meters) summit of the world’s highest mountain early Sunday, said Ramesh Chretri, an official with Nepal’s ministry of tourism.

Further, he was all too aware of the potential dangers Chomolungma could bring. Certain parts of the climb are more dangerous than others and it is important for climbers to remain focused More than 2967 people have climbed to the summit since it was first conquered in 1953 by New Zealander Edmund Hillary, who died in January, and Nepal’s Tenzing Norgay.

His first found him within 161 metres of the peak when his team stopped to help a fellow mountaineer who was left for dead. Three years later, Bahadur Sherchan, a University of Calgary alumni, returned to Everest to finish what he had started.

The 76-year-old man from Nepal is now the oldest person to have reached the top of the Mount Everest. This year French mountaineer Anthony Loeff is reporting the scales for Mount Everest after reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania earlier this season.

Now that Min Bahadur Sherchan has successfully scaled the tallest mountain in the world, he is once again ready to focus on his family. “The Chinese weren’t allowing anybody on Chomolungma or Mount Everest. They ended up commandeering it for themselves, even though Mt Everest is shared by two countries. They flexed their muscles this year all the in name of the Olympic spirit, but it was hardly spirited at all.”

Therefore, the decision to actualize a long-time personal goal left Bahadur Sherchan with some internal uncertainties, he cited the political actions of China and Nepal as providing the greatest adversity he faced on his journey. Andrew Brash last attempt resulted in the rescue of Lincoln Hall, an Australian climber who was left by his team in the “death zone.”

With the Chinese preparing for the impending summer Olympic Games, Bahadur Sherchan noted that the government’s actions hardly reflected the Olympic spirit. The Chinese were flying their airplanes over Chomolungma and had Chinese officials in Kathmandu. They basically coerced the Nepali government to not allow any climbers past camp two on the Nepali side. “the Mount Everest this year became a political pawn,” he said with some frustration.

As he planned for the climb, Sherchan told reporters he wanted to inspire fellow senior citizens. He also said many Nepalese have established records on Everest, so it was only fitting that the record for the oldest climber to reach the summit should also belong to a Nepali.
